Eglise Saint-André de Pellegrue

Description

This Romanesque church was linked to the castral village before the foundation of the bastide. It has a barrel-vaulted choir, a semicircular apse with a barrel vault, a transept with broken barrel vaults and a dome on pendentives. The portal, with four arches, is probably later (13th century). In 1895/1896, to the north, the present side tower-belfry, topped by an oblong dome flanked at its base by belfries, was built by the architect Valleton.

Keys on request from the town hall.
