Built between 1868 and 1878, this church contains many curiosities. Composed of hard stones from St-Savinien (Charente-Maritime), its bell tower faces east which is the point of sunrise on September 27th (St Vincent's day).
By pushing the oak doors of this religious monument, you will discover the organs installed in 1973. Atypical elements, the clams are actually 2 tridacne shells (shells from the tropics).
The stained glass windows were created by the master enameller Raymond Mirande (born in 1932 in Bordeaux). It is to him that we also owe the stained glass windows of the churches of Andernos-les-Bains and St-Emilion.
