Vieille Eglise Saint Vincent à Mérignac

Description

Dating from the 12th century, this Romanesque church is the oldest civil and religious monument in Mérignac. Several times damaged and restored, it is now used as an exhibition hall. It has been listed in the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments since 1987.
As part of its partnership with the Maison Européenne de la Photographie, the Old Church of Saint Vincent hosts high quality photo exhibitions but also other types of art

Finally, every other year in October, the church, as well as other sites in the town of Mérignac (airport, town hall, media library) exhibit different works as part of the Mérignac Photographic Festival.
