Eglise Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul du Marsan

Eglise Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul du Marsan
Eglise Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul du Marsan Grenade sur l'Adour

Description

It rises on the edge of the central square of the bastide town of Granada. Registered as a historical monument, it dates back to the 14th century

It has two towers, built in 1833, and a beautiful portal
ogival

Inside, which gives a curious impression, as the altar is not in the axis of the central nave, the church has several elements classified as historical monuments, some of which are
come from the Abbey of la Castelle: a pulpit, from the beginning of the 18th century, in carved wood; a holy table, from the 18th century; an altarpiece, from the 18th century; a remarkable painting from the 17th century representing a descent from the cross

The church also has other paintings of great interest

Open every day from 9am to 6pm.
