Eglise de Saint Amans

This Romanesque country church cannot be accurately dated due to the lack of documentation about the churches in and around Agen. However, the church’s architecture suggests that it dates back to the 12th century. The church has an arched bell tower, with two bells weighing 400 and 100 kilos, and a well-preserved Romanesque porch. The porch has three arches, and the architectural interest of this doorway is found in the geometrical patterns displayed on these arches.
