Description
Unique in the region, this museum has a collection of irons and machines from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Exceptional: Chinese irons between the 5th and 7th century. It is a complete collection of about 250 irons of different energies and different heating processes. Stove to heat by the irons, ember iron, plate iron, tiles, glazing iron, water iron, alcohol iron, gasoline iron, ingot iron ... Unique collection of a great Parisian dyer.
Jacques' collections are growing with time. Do not hesitate to discover new objects. In 2017, new showcase on the processes of shaping textiles and leather, shaped in glove wood.
Place not accessible to disabled people.
