Cocumont, perched on the top of a hill, dominates the Garonne valley. The village offers visitors an excellent panorama of the surrounding countryside and vineyards. Behind the Marmandais cooperative cellar is an old Romanesque church dating from the 12th century. Listed as a Historic Monument, the church of Saint-Jean-de-Vidailhac is said to have been built on the remains of a Carolingian place of worship. Enter the building through the impressive portal pierced in the south façade, and admire the triumphal arch of the church and its capitals.
