Laplume

Former capital of Bruilhois until the Revolution, Laplume is a promontory city, perched on a ridge. The open view allows you to admire a superb 360° panorama of the region. An ancient medieval fortified town, the city has a main street distributing all the districts of the village. Destroyed following a major fire, the ramparts, originally pierced by five gates, have been partly rebuilt by the city. Take the circuit going down the stairs of the ramparts to the wash houses of Laplume dating from the 18th century. Numerous walks allow you to discover the region's plant heritage.
