Pont suspendu de Sauveterre-Saint-Denis

This structure was built in 1845 and allows the D 308 to cross the Garonne upstream of Agen. It is located between the bridge of Layrac (D 17) and the bridge of Saint Nicolas de la Balerme. This structure consists of two independent spans of 98.70 m each, a pier in the river, a roadway 2.35 m wide, and two sidewalks of 1.15 m. The whole structure is made of wooden decking and is limited to 3.5 tons and 2.90 m in height. It was completely restored from April 2011 to March 2012.
