Sainte-Jehanne is a parish complex comprising a church, bell tower, presbytery and parish hall.
The foundation stone of the church was laid by Bishop Johan on October 25, 1959 and its construction took from 1960 to 1965. It was actually completed in 1979 with the construction of the parish hall. The church was blessed and opened for worship in May 1965. It is dedicated to Saint Joan of France, daughter of King Louis XI, founder of the Order of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary.
Work of the architect Jacques Pompey, in contemporary style, it is built in reinforced concrete and stone. Its remarkable glued-laminated timber frame is the work of the Layracais master journeyman carpenter Gérard Cahours.
The artist Jacques Bringuier created the frescoes and a bronze bas-relief.
