The Crêt de la Neige (Snow Crest)

Starting from Lelex, climb the highest peak in the Jura mountains, the Crêt de la Neige. You can cut the ascension in half by taking La Catheline cable-car, recently renovated and now fitted with panoramic cabins (open during summer).
The Crêt de la Neige is 1720 meters high. It is the highest peak in Haut-Jura. It is accessible on foot and in snowshoes, thanks to marked paths like GR9 and GTJ. In the winter and summer seasons, it is accessible by cable-car.
