Col du Sapenay

The Sapenay Plateau is a vast natural and agricultural landscape overlooking the Lac du Bourget. The Col du Sapenay (altitude: 897 m) is one of the few passes along the long cliff overlooking the lake.
For many centuries, the Col du Sapenay has allowed travel between Chautagne and Albanais.
Today, Sapenay is both a remarkable viewpoint and a famous hang-gliding spot.
