The Water Mirror is a 1 metre deep water-basin in a quiet spot that gets its water supply from natural stream waters.
This place was once part of a domain called Périac, which was located on the fiefdom lands of "La Roche du Parc" founded in 1692 which, itself, had been constructed following the division of the fiefdom lands of Villeflix. The water-basin and its horse-shoe shaped steps are probably the last of the remaining vestiges from the 18th century and are visible on a map created by Abbé de la Grive dated in 1750 : at that time, beautiful bourgeois homes with their French gardens could be found dotting the hillsides of the Marne.
