Take time out with the family and enjoy fabulous views of Lake Geneva on this walk. Depending on the season, walk amongst the raspberries and flowering epilobium.
Nature and Heritage: Some of this walk is in the protected area near the sources of the Moises. The top quality sources supply almost 15000 customers with drinking water up to the banks of Lake Geneva. The Syndicat Intercommunal des Eaux des Moises was founded in 1949: it now protects and supplies water as well as building and maintaining networks.
Route details: Take the forest path (snowshoeing and ski touring routes in winter) behind the wooden shelter (recycling bins) and stay on the path for approximately 25 minutes. You will come out onto a mountain pasture dotted with spruce plots and soon after you will reach Trécout. At the crossroads where the fountain lies, turn right to "Châtillonet - Col des Moises". Walk through the mountain pasture then down the path amongst the logs to Châtillonet. Continue straight on to a side road which reaches Très le Mont pasture after a 30 minute walk (possibility to go up to Mont Forchat). Take the GR hiking trail along the way to get back down to Col du Feu.
