Pain de Sucre et Rochers des Parcs

The River Orne runs alongside the abrupt crags, dominated by a rock referred to as the Pain de Sucre (literally sugar bread), at the extremity of the La Houle rocks with which it forms the "Route des Crêtes" (the Crest Route).

This emblematic Suisse Normande site is well known for its rocky escarpments and can be visited from below, along the banks of the Orne, or from above, along the pathway that overlooks the cliff. It is a particularly popular site among climbing enthusiasts. The wealth and the originality of its natural environment (heath, dry grassland, wooded hills...) render the site a remarkable natural area.

The church is dependent on the former Diocese of Bayeux. The herring-bone details on the gable prove that this part of the church is of Romanesque style. This long building with a simple nave is surmounted with a belfry with a polygonal spire. A small semi-circular window can be seen in the south wall.

Located on the banks of the Orne in Clécy, the restaurant Aux Rochers welcomes you with its traditional and home-made cuisine. Come and enjoy the typical Norman room or the large veranda and its apparent cliff with the view on the Orne.

To eat after a descent of monorail sled, after a small stroll on the banks of the Orne, nothing like a lunch or a snack in the open air in a friendly and green setting. For lunch you will have the inevitable paninis, croques-monsieur, sandwiches, French fries and salads (in season) with "homemade" preparations which can be tasted on the spot or to take away.

We extend a warm welcome to our single-track summer sled in Clécy, in the heart of Suisse Normande in Normandy. Located within an exceptional site (offering views over the Clécy viaduct and the rock climbing zones), enjoy the thrills and spills of our totally safe 650 metre circuit open to all. The sled is designed for single passengers of a minimum height of 1.3m (4'3"). Smaller participants must be accompanied. An inflatable structure is also available for children, along with a snack kiosk and bar to help you get your breath back between rides.

In the heart of Suisse Normande, in the department of Calvados, we welcome you to our blue, red and black tubing trails, unique in northwestern France. In an exceptional setting, with a view of the Clécy viaduct and the rocks of the parks, you can safely hurtle down slopes of different levels in a buoy with or without a springboard, accessible to all. You'll have plenty of thrills and spills.

ParapenteMania is a paragliding school with the Normandie Qualité Tourisme label. Based in Clécy, we offer paragliding courses and first flights for all levels, mainly in the Lower Normandy region. We are a human-sized structure with a warm atmosphere where the human element is at the heart of the structure.

Plaine Altitude is a paragliding school offering courses, equipment and first flights. The school is open every day from April to October. Our dynamic and enthusiastic team is delighted to share its passion with you. Sites, depending on wind direction: *Saint Omer during southerly or westerly winds. *Saint Marc d'Ouilly during northerly winds *Crocy in other cases.
