The 10,000 Year Trail takes you through 10,000 years of history. The Laquin peat bog is off the trail. Then, a few meters after the sign "LAQUIN", observe the traces of a forge (low furnace technique) whose circle can be guessed on the edge of the forest (slag residues). Further on, at the foot of the feudal mound of the Labatut castle, which was originally a simple tower, probably made of wood, is the entrance to the cluzeau, now buried under the vegetation. Finally, visit the castle of Montreal which overlooks the valley.
