Starting from Objat and its lake on the banks of the Loyre, a walk in the heart of the wooded, hedged landscape of the Yssandonnais. You will discover the villages of La Roche and Charriéras, with their old houses and narrow streets. The path, in the shade of large oak trees, offers a beautiful panorama of the red sandstone village of Saint Cyr la Roche, its castle and its church. You will take the rue des Diligences which overlooks the valley of the Mayne stream and return to Objat via the station area. Close to the village is a 16-hectare leisure area, including an eco-pool. The Sunday markets are an ideal opportunity to discover local producers and taste Objat's specialities. The fairs for milk-fed calves, raised under the mother's milk, have enabled Objat and its foirail to be classified as a "remarkable site of taste".

Depuis l'aire d'accueil de la petite gare, le chemin balisé à travers la Garenne du Puy Grolier conduit aux anciennes carderies. Le pont au dessus de la Vézère franchi, le décor de verdure et d'eau se prolonge sur l'autre rive et parvient, sous les ombrages, à la Base de la Minoterie, Station Sports Nature qui offre de multiples activités. Le circuit se poursuit par la rue de l'abreuvoir qui monte vers la ville ancienne. Puis on traverse à nouveau la Vézère par le Pont Turgot pour rejoindre le point de départ. Le parcours est ponctué de panneaux relatant la vie et l’œuvre de Simone De Beauvoir, philosophe et écrivain (1908-1986), prix Goncourt 1954, qui a passé une partie de ses vacances durant son enfance, tout près d'ici. Partout, dans l'eau verte des pêcheries, dans la houle des prairies, sous les fougères qui coupent, au creux des taillis se cachaient des trésors que je brûlais de découvrir." Le Circuit des Vitraux prend son nom des vitraux situés à son point de départ dans l’église Saint Martial. Ainsi après avoir admiré la lumière sublimée par Kim En Joong, artiste de renommée internationale, on peut s’insinuer dans la pénombre des bois qui le long du cours d’eau de la Loyre ont été un haut lieu de la Résistance dont le souvenir est marqué sur place par la stèle érigée en mémoire.

The Base Sports Loisirs Vézère offers archery discovery sessions in the form of games on 2D or 3D targets, but also Battle Archery, Fluflu shooting and Run Archery. Le chevet en hémicycle revêtu à l'intérieur de colonnettes et d'arcades sous hauts soubassements, l'abside et le coeur datent de la période romane; la nef flanquée de bas coté avec deux chapelles latérales est sillonnée de nervures primastiques d'un effet très gracieux. Cette partie de l'église appartient à la dernière période ogivale. L'église a du subir à cette époque un agrandissement et dans ce cas, la partie romane serait le vestige d'une église antérieur. A ces caractères si remarquables, il faut ajouter l'ancienneté de la cloche qui date de 1475 et classée monument historique le 12 Novembre 1908.
