Inaugurated in 1873, the first railway line crosses the territory of the commune of Latresne linking Bordeaux to La Sauve Another line passed through the station: the Bordeaux-Cadillac "tramway", put into service in 1897 Faced with growing competition from road transport, the railway lines closed one by one.
