Roaming along the roads of the historical centre, this city tour will take you on a discovery of Pontarlier’s emblematic locations: architectural, historical and symbolic city buildings, the banks of the Doubs and a viewpoint over the city. From the Tourist Office (), descend rue de la Gare to rue de la République.Head to Place d’Arçon, on your left. From here, you can see the Saint-Pierre gate at the end of the road.From the square, take rue de la Halle near the theatre. At the end of the road, head to the old barracks via place des Bernardines and place Cretin, on your right. Go to the bridge across the Doubs by heading through place Jules Pagnier and rue de Morteau.From here, make a round trop (1.2 km) to the Armand Guy distillery via rue des Lavaux.On returning to rue de Morteau, enter the park on the edge of the Doubs and follow the embankments on a little adapted path; this will take you to the other side of the park. Join up with rue de la République by leaving the park through rue Julez Mathez, where you will find the Jeanne d’Arc high school.   On arriving at rue de la République, head left until you reach another bridge over the Doubs. From here, make a round trip to the Hospital to observe its facade and the two chapels that can be seen from the road.On returning to rue de la République, after crossing the bridge once more, head down rue Montrieux and take rue Gambetta on your right to reach place Saint-Bénigne and the church. From the square, head to the train station vie rue Tissot. From here, you can head directly to the Tourist Office via rue de la Gare. You can also make a round trip of under 2 km to the Chapelle de l’Espérance, with a stunning viewpoint over the whole city. It can be accessed by heading down rocade George Pompidou until you come to rue du Stand, then head under the railway and take rue de la Chapelle (yellow waymarking) directly to the viewpoint.

Bike-tour that leads you all around the element water. Natural sources, little lakes, the canal, the watershed (source of Madon flowing to the North, source of Saône flowing to the South) and a natural warm water source in the woods.

Thanks to the Club Vosgien and the walking section of the MJC of Bains-les-Bains for the creation of this hike and for the work done by its teams throughout the year to mark out and maintain these paths. Trail market out in both directions by a blue ring, which can be combined with circuit 7 (Caution: red triangle marking at the start of the Bains-Les-Bains tourism office since this section is shared with other trails, then blue ring marking at the Parc Thermal) Through the countryside, between meadows and undergrowth, this rather shady walk is almost mostly small tarmac country roads, so it can be done with a pushchair for example. At the Grands Prés, a beautiful restored house, then traditional charri farms mark out this route with a slight difference in level. Nice view over the highest point of Le Noirmont.

Trail marked out by a green ring. At the start, follow the signs shared by all the trails: red triangle, then after the thermal park, follow the green ring. This trail is accessible to all and shaded, ideal for hot weather. The trail starts at the thermal baths of Bains-les-Bains. On the way out, you pass through the charming spa park of the resort. From this point on, follow the two-way marking with a green ring. By taking the avenue du Docteur Bailly, then the route de la gare you will gradually leave the town and you will find yourself in the nature. This route follows a charming stream. At the roundabout, take the path along the D164. It will be accessible on your right. Don't forget to take a moment to observe the surrounding nature with its diverse flora and fauna. Then your steps will lead you to the forest hill of Rédé. Finally the path will take you across the D164 and back in the opposite direction. You will retrace your steps via the rue de Bertramont and return to the town and the starting point.

Its northern section was demolished shortly after 1900. The belfry is in the shape of a Romanesque pyramidal bell tower. Special feature: the well is equipped with a double crank handle, a reminder that the farm was once divided between two sisters whose relationship was far from cordial! South of the village, the stream known as La Rigotte disappears into a cavern and resurfaces 2 km downstream. This subterranean section of the stream is known as the “pertes”. Domaine Le Bocage consists of two remarkable buildings and a large park. After entering the driveway through the wrought iron gate, you will find on your left the 19th century castle called the Bocage and on your right the flag of two hundred years of hunting, former name of Saint-Hubert. The magnificent closed park of more than three hectares and planted with hundred-year-old trees. A beautiful 3 hectare park, surrounded by very old trees. The Haute Marne is the third most important department in the country that produces Emmental. Production goes back to the last century when One cheese familiar to all is the Langres cheese (AOC, the guarantee of origin), made from full cream milk from the cows that graze in the pastures of the Bassigny and on the Langres plateau. It is a soft, orange coloured cheese with a smooth, edible crust. The cheese is matured in Marc de Champagne or Marc de Bourgogne which gives this cheese its unique flavour.

Growing 3 ha of red fruits, all these are processed on the farm in a traditional way without adding preservatives or other adjuvants. Our cereals are produced on our land in soil conservation agriculture. Our choice of culture is based on respect for the soil and the microbial and animal life that reside there with the least possible intervention. We decided to transform our wheat from old varieties in order to use the flour obtained in the cookies made by Cassis d'Alice. The choice of the mill was essential in our decision. Indeed, we wanted a mill that respects our cereals. We therefore headed for an Astrié type mill. The granite grinding stones unroll the grain and do not grind it. Result: we keep germ, minerals and nutrients in our flour. We therefore obtain flour of exceptional nutritional and taste quality. We produce 3 different types of flour: From the T80 (semi complete) to the T110 (complete) and the T130 (Integral). The flour produced on the farm is ideal for making your bread, but also your pastries and all your usual culinary preparations.

From the Middle Ages to the start of the current century, the agricultural history of the Haute-Marne region has been closely linked to the vine. And this tradition, which at one time had almost faded from sight, has, over the past ten years or so, experienced something of a regeneration - to the delight of many a connoisseur ! The vineyards of Coiffy and Montsaugeonnais lie to the south of the Haute-Marne, very near Burgundy. The many cellars of Coiffy-le-Haut and Vaux-sous-Aubigny house «Vins de Pays», regional wines, such as Chardonnay, Auxerrois, Rosé, Pinot noir and Blanc de Blanc. Tradition has it that in the 9th c. the bishop of Langres encouraged the monks of Aubigny to plant vines on the surrounding hillsides. And today, the local winegrowers are more than willing to let you taste their produce.

TFrom Vaux-sous-Aubigny, the cheese dairy Germain perpetuates the tradition and manufactures the two Appellations of Protected Origin that are the Langres and Epoisses. Two cheeses that you can taste on the spot at the shop! Since 1921, the Germain cheese factory has been producing cow's milk cheese. Now based in Vaux-sous-Aubigny, she collects milk from her partner producers within a radius of 30 km around the cheese factory. Find his new shop attached to the Fromagerie. You will first find all the cheese made on site, featuring Langres and Epoisses. You will also find a wide range of Rians products, cheeses, faisselles and desserts.
