Visitors will also discover a selection of 25 historical documents and 13 paintings illustrating the special connections the poet had with avant-garde artists and writers of his time, including Neo-Impressionists and renowned literary figures of the 19th and 20th centuries.In the footsteps of Verhaeren: the "Circuit des Pierres"From the museum space, visitors can follow the "Circuit des Pierres", a 4-kilometer walk leading to emblematic sites linked to Verhaeren, including the famous Caillou-qui-bique. Between 1899 and 1914, Emile Verhaeren regularly stayed in Roisin, in the Hauts-Pays, where he found peace and inspiration in a farm-inn near the Caillou-qui-bique.
