This 26.2 km route links the towns of Le Teich and Arcachon. Following the GR® de Pays Tour du Bassin d?Arcachon and GR®6, hikers can contemplate the southern slopes of the Arcachon Basin. This itinerary can easily be covered in both directions. It can be completed in a single day for experienced hikers, or in two days, allowing you to appreciate the magnificent landscape of the Bassin d?Arcachon. This route is proposed by the Comité Régional de Randonnée Pédestre. Departing from a train station or TER bus stop, it allows you to join a walking or hiking itinerary, and take a stroll in ecomobility!

Route proposed until September included. The walk starts at the Thiers pier, which offers a beautiful panorama on the Bay of Arcachon, with the Île-aux-Oiseaux and the famous Cabanes Tchanquées. By the boulevard Marcel-Gounouilhou, go along the beach and join the Place Carnot on your left. The rue du Maréchal-de-Lattre-de-Tassigny leads you to the foot of the elevator that gives access to the Parc Mauresque and the Ville d'Hiver. In the Parc Mauresque, discover the different scents and the incredible vegetation! To complete your tour, a stop at Place Fleming will lead you to the discovery of new scents...

Departing from Arcachon, this loop takes you along the Bay of Arcachon via the Pereire, Abatilles and Le Moulleau districts, before arriving at the Dune de Pilat parking lot, which is free for cyclists. For the return journey, you'll take part of the Vélodyssée, a beautiful trail that takes you back via the Port de la Teste to your starting point in Arcachon.

Built in 1943 during the German occupation, this 120 m² bunker, specialized in telecommunications, was built underground to be protected from bombing. Closed and levelled in 1946, it was forgotten until 2015. The Groupement de Recherches Archéologiques du Mur de l'Atlantique et du Secteur Arcachon (GRAMASA) carried out the excavations. This place, never visited before, knows how to make the link between past and present, in an immersive, educational, patrimonial and playful way.
