The nave and chancel are now open to the public, while the north side houses the town hall and an exhibition room. Admission is free.The origins of this edifice date back to the 9th century. A Benedictine priory was founded here in the 11th century. Pope John XXII created the collegiate chapter of Burlats in 1318. The collegiate church was partly destroyed during the Wars of Religion and then during the French Revolution. In 1835, the commune bought the ruined parts of the site, which belonged to a private individual, and converted them into housing.

A masterpiece of Romanesque civil architecture, unique in the region.It's a place steeped in history, legends, poetry and love... It was named after Adélaïde, daughter of Constance of France and Raymond V, Count of Toulouse. The Countess, married to Raymond-Roger Trencavel, held a court of love here and brought together the greatest troubadours of her time.

An area that has something for everyone: games for the kids, a place to fish and a lake tour to digest.It's one of the few flat spots in the Sidobre! You'll be able to stroll around in peace and quiet. There are granite picnic tables and a small children's play area. 2nd category fishing site.

A charming waterfall on the Aiguebelle stream, just a stone's throw from the medieval village of Burlats.It takes around 20 to 30 minutes to walk there and back.

Une des plus longues rivières de rochers à proximité de Lafontasse. Dans le chaos en aval se cache la grotte St-Dominique.On pénètre dans la grotte St-Dominique par une étroite ouverture difficile d'accès. 2 variantes possibles à 20 min ou 1h40.

Lieu de promenade et de pêche très apprécié grâce à son environnement agréable et ombragé. Le lac du Lézert se situe à 4km de Castres sur la commune de Burlats (direction Saint Salvy de la Balme).Sur la rive droite, est mis à votre disposition une aire de pique-nique avec des jeux pour enfants, un boulodrome et un vaste terrain de jeux. Vous trouverez sur la rive gauche un ponton de pêche sécurisé avec une rampe pour les personnes à mobilité réduite, ainsi que le parking. Ici une population piscicole important vous attend : carpe, tanche, goujon, gardon, truite arc en ciel, perche soleil, poisson chat. Le lac est classé en 2ème catégorie. Des panneaux vous indiquerons la réglementation de ce lac, ainsi que les lâchers. Il n'y a pas de carte privé mais la carte de pêche est obligatoire.
