Chemin d'Amadour: étape 13 bis : Jonction Eymet-Bergerac

Description

From the Dropt valley, the path climbs up to the Bergerac hills. Gradually, the vines appear, giving the landscape a certain constancy that helps to characterize the Bergeracois. Even when it has largely disappeared from the Dordogne valley floor, to make way for mixed farming, its presence on the slopes remains strong. In some areas, vines cover vast plots of land, forming a monoculture with a highly ordered landscape, as around Monbazillac.
