This tour invites you to discover a mosaic of gently sloping hills and picturesque villages. Here, the art of living is cultivated, from the earthly to the spiritual. This generous land bears witness to the marvellous skills of medieval builders in such exceptional sites as Aubazine and Saint-Robert. There are also countless natural treasures to discover: the Causse corrézien, the Gouffre de la Fage... Stay in the depths and discover the pans de Travassac near Donzenac, a pleasant medieval town with circular streets. Further west, the Vézère winds its way through hills and flowering orchards to form a verdant valley. It's all there to amaze you... but the star of this land remains the apple, of which there are 250 varieties in Corrèze, found in the orchards between Objat and Juillac.

Ce parcours permet d'admirer les points de vue sur Donzenac et sa plaine depuis le village de Mazières. Il s'enfonce ensuite dans la vallée ombragée des deux Maumonts, qu'il traverse au moulin du Theil, pour ressortir sur le haut des coteaux par le charmant village de Cévennes. Il replonge une dernière fois dans la vallée des Maumonts avant d'atteindre le célèbre site ardoisier de Travassac. Enfin, un petit détour par le village médiéval de Donzenac permet de s'octroyer une pause rafraîchissante sur la place du bourg avant de terminer cette randonnée.

The GR®46 long-distance hiking trail links Tours to Toulouse over a total distance of 945 km. In Corrèze, the 150 km route leads from Lacelle in the north, in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional de Millevaches, to Turenne, one of France's most beautiful villages, with its superb castle perched on a rocky promontory offering 360° panoramic views over the Causse and Quercy landscapes. Along the way, you'll discover Treignac, a Petite Cité de Caractère nestled in the Massif des Monédières, and also Uzerche, labelled "Plus Beau Détour de France", otherwise known as La Perle du Limousin with its rich heritage. You don't have a car, or you're looking for an eco-responsible holiday? The entire itinerary can be completed from the stations at Lacelle, Uzerche, Vigeois, Estivaux, Allassac and Turenne.

Departing from the cellars on the Vézère hillsides, this hike takes you on a tour of this ancient wine-growing region (several itineraries). Vines have been grown on these schistose hills since the 5th century. Destroyed by Phylloxera in 1876, it has now reclaimed the hillsides of Allassac and Le Saillant. Built or rebuilt in the centre of Brive at the beginning of the 15th century (perhaps around the tomb of the Saint to whom it owes its name), the Chapelle Saint-Libéral had an eventful history before being transferred to the City of Brive in 1976. Inscribed in 1978 in the Supplementary Inventory of Historical Monuments, this Gothic style chapel has been a space for exhibitions and cultural activities since the 1980s and offers a rich and varied programme throughout the year. Since September 2011, it has been attached to the Labenche Museum.

La maison Treilhard est une des maisons typiques du centre de Brive. Elle possède une belle tour polygonale flanquée d'une tourelle en poivrière et entrée ornée de moulures et de frontons sculptés. Elle vit naître J.B. Treilhard, qui, après avoir été membre de la Convention puis du Directoire, fut l'un des rédacteurs du Code Civil.

This public garden laid out in 1982 on the drawing of a former garden of the XVII and XVIII century, offers a collection of over 2000 roses including 100 climbing roses that are based on an architecture arbors and pergolas. Pruning roses demonstration in February.

Romanic church built from the 12th century, in the shape of Latin cross. Of this period remain the transept, the octagonal dome on pendants, a part of the head as well as an exceptional set of narrative capitals in the choir. The bell tower is of neo-Romanic style Limousin and culminates at 60 meters high. In the crypt are visible the vestiges of the previous basilica of the 5th century, updated in 1986 and 1987.

Monument d'époque Louis XIII, qui fut le couvent des Clarisses, puis des Bénédictines de Bonnesaigne, prison de femmes, demeure bourgeoise, petit séminaire, école congréganiste puis laïque, actuellement le siège de la Société archéologique de la Corrèze. L'aile gauche possède au rez-de-chaussée trois arcatures en plein cintre, vestiges du cloître de l'Abbesse, les lucarnes des deux toitures sont surmontées de frontons en demi-cercle et ornée de boules. Il fut de 1882 à 1985 le siège du musée Ernest Rupin

This jewel of Renaissance art is full of fine sculptures and enhanced with arcatures, foliage scrolls and finials. The cast iron door knocker is topped off with a salamander, the symbol of François I.

The museum is located in the family home of Edmond Michelet, Resistance fighter and statesman (1899-1970). Its field of study and its collections concern the Second World War, the Resistance and the Deportation, in France and in Corrèze. It has an important collection of propaganda posters, which is now the specific heritage of the museum, which has a permanent exhibition and hosts temporary exhibitions. It welcomes the individual and school public, and makes its documentation and archive centre available for any research concerning its field of study. The museum also organises guided tours of its temporary exhibitions and workshops for children throughout the year. It also participates in the European Museum Night in May and the European Heritage Days in September. Free admission.
