Then turn right on the Rue du Château d'Eau. The latter rejoins the Rue des Sources, which we follow on the right.100 m after leaving the village, follow the road to the left. At the crossroads with the Pézareix road, continue on the track straight ahead. At the next crossroads, go straight on (the big loop goes to the right).At the next crossroads, turn left to reach Cisterne.In the village, follow the road to the left for 1 km. Take a path to the left. Turn right at the road to reach the Pézareix mill. Take the road on the left which rises and becomes a track. Turn right when you reach the road.At the crossroads, turn right: the road runs alongside the ralway line. Turn left at the railway crossing and then take the path on the left just after the crossing keeper's house. Turn left at the next crossroads; the path becomes a track.Take the road to the left; go left at the next crossroads; cross the railway line. Turn right at the next crossroads to return to Maussac.

The llama is a small camelid native to Peru, it is gentle and docile. Come and discover this fabulous animal that is the llama! We propose several activities: discovery of the llamas and ballade with the llamas in longe in the paths near the farm, workshop of agility, hike with 2 llamas during the day, mediation by the animal, educational farm (small animals native of the Andean plateau). And don't forget the "LAMA'NIVERSAIRE", hunting for cuddly toys with the help of llamas, answering riddles, sharing a birthday snack for a full afternoon of celebration. The Ibis hotel in Egletons hotel is located in a park with a fitness trail along Lake Deiro, near the town centre and EATP convention hall. At an altitude of 572 metres, on a rocky spur which dominates the Soudeillette and Vigne gorges by two hundred metres, the Ventadour castle stands with its imposing ruins in a site which evokes both the power of medieval feudalism and the blossoming of courtly love, to which the name of the troubadour Bernard de Ventadour remains attached. The castle site was built in the 11th century and the oldest remains currently preserved date back to the end of the 12th century. The ramparts, the round tower, the seigneurial dwelling and the chapel of Saint-Georges can still be seen today. The castle commanded the Viscounty of Ventadour, the towns of Ussel and Egletons. For more than a century (12th - 13th century), the castle of Ventadour was a centre of artistic creation, one of the most important in Occitan countries.

Les chalets du bord du Lac welcome you to an exceptional site, on the banks of the Lac de la Triouzoune, in NEUVIC, near Haute-Corrèze. The fully-equipped 60m² chalets with covered terraces are set in an enclosed area of one hectare planted with trees. You have direct access to the water. This type of well is not very common in the Haute-Corrèze because the water table is not as deep as in the north of the Limousin. It consists of a wooden structure that supports the winch and peg system. 

Also called "Limousin Mountain" this large granitic plateau straddles the departments of Corrèze, Creuse and Haute-Vienne. Peat bogs, dry moors with heather, deciduous forests and meadows all contribute to its authentic landscapes.

It is hard to imagine when discovering Maussac that this site was a coal mining centre. Conceded to a company in 1809, this deposit was mined until 1924; At its peak around 1908, 30 tons were extracted per day. No slag heaps and shafts, but galleries sloping gently down. The station played a major role, the very rich coal was ideal for feeding the forges and the Tulle arms factory consumed almost all the production.

A viewpoint over the Monédières massif with the Suc au May and the Puy de la Monédières. The Monédières massif is one of the seven landscape entities attached to the Millevaches Regional Natural Park in Limousin and covers an area of about 60 km². This protected granite region is located in the foothills of the Massif Central. Its dry moors are classified as Natura 2000 areas, synonymous with it being an exceptional site for flora and fauna.

The springs and fountains in the area generally have a similar architecture. They consist of a pile of three granite blocks, a horizontal deck resting on two vertical pedestals. On the other hand, at the crossroads of many departments, the area seems to have had a variety of architectural influences in the shaping of its wells. 

On 3 June 1944, Jean Vilat (58), a veteran and member of the FTP (Francs-tireurs et partisans, the name of the French internal resistance movement), left his farm to warn a camp of Resistance fighters of the arrival of the Nazis. Pierre Denaes, 20 years old, who was on guard, was shot by the assailants. On his return, John was arrested and tied to a tree in front of his house. Jean would not talk despite torture and horrible mutilation, thus saving many resistance fighters.

In the distance, easily identifiable thanks to its television and telephone broadcasting antenna, stands Mont Bessou. At 976 metres, it is the highest point in the Limousin. When you return from your walk, make a detour to discover a magnificent viewpoint overlooking the Monts d'Auvergne from the top of its panoramic tower.

In 1865, the young abbess Catherine de Chabannes de Curton fled the Abbey in the face of the murderous madness of Frances Charles de Coligny's Admiral's army. The reused stones of the facades lend themselves to imagining the legend that surrounds this episode."Catherine is grazing her flock of sheep when she hears in the distance the sounds of hooves, armour, men and horses. Desperately worried, she runs to the Abbey…"

Passing the fountain, a voice from the right calls out to Catherine. As she gets closer to the house, she sees a face come alive in the thickness of the wall. She immediately recognises Sainte-Marie, protector of the Abbey, who says to her:"You and your friends are out of danger here; go to your left until you can see the whole Abbey, retrace your steps and go down there quickly."

Our warm and friendly "l'Europa Gourmand" restaurant serves home made dishes, almost exclusively made with local ingredients. Our menu evolves with the seasons and guests can enjoy a meal in the restaurant or on our veranda, in the cooler weather and our shady outdoor terrace's in the warm weather.

Beside the lake, the restaurant 'Le Sèchemailles' with its terrace and panaramic view, invites you to share an enjoyable moment. Menu, dish of the day (lunchtime), salads, snacks (pm) and ice creams.
